Real-time capture of the new Genesis G80, “Clearer front design”
While the design of the Genesis G80 facelift model was revealed on the 13th, photos of the new G80 with the camouflage film removed are being captured on domestic roads and parking lots. The new G80 is characterized by inheriting the existing design while improving completeness through detailed changes.
In particular, the exterior maintained the existing overall layout while improving completeness by changing the grill pattern and lamp design. The front part is flashy by applying the double mesh radiator grille that was first introduced in the GV80 facelift, and vertical air intake garnishes were added to both sides of the bumper to add a sporty feel.
The headlamp was also changed from a quad lamp using four existing LED lamps to an MLA (Micro Lens Array) type with small LEDs arranged side by side. It gives a high-tech feel while maintaining the existing two-line surface-emitting turn signal lights to improve design completeness.
The biggest change in the rear part is the bumper design change. As with the front part, vertical air intake garnishes were added to both ends of the bumper, and a triangular muffler garnish in the shape of a crest grill was applied to the bottom of the bumper. Although it has a cleaner look, the change to a hidden type muffler remains disappointing.
The interior has undergone major changes, reflecting Genesis' latest layout. The latest 3-spoke steering wheel and 27-inch wide OLED are applied, and it features a new air conditioner panel and an electronic gear shift dial with a crystal pattern.
As before, the interior of the Genesis G80 facelift model is expected to come in three styles depending on the leather material and four colors.
Meanwhile, the detailed specifications and price of the Genesis G80 facelift model will be revealed upon launch, and a price increase is expected along with enhanced marketability.
